Cyathea robusta
From Lord Howe Island this species can grow up to 16 ft. in height and has attractive, thick, erect fronds and lightbrown scales on the croziers. As the stipe mature the scales fall leaving the thick light green stipe visible. It is hardy and been known to with stand a frost.
