Rhapis excelsa
Rhapis excelsa grows up to 4 m in height and 30 mm in diameter with multi-stemmed clumps, with shiny palmate green leaves.
The leaf ends are saw toothed not common in most palms. As the plant ages the sheaths fall and bamboo like trunks appear. Which is why they refer to it as a bamboo palm or broadleaf lady palm.
